In order to maintain a safe and courteous environment within Oddysee, please keep in mind the following rules when chatting on any Oddysee community chat system.
- The following items have a “No Tolerance” policy:
- Racist or sexist remarks.
- Hateful remarks about sexual orientation or religion.
- Any verbal abuse of another member, especially if it involves any of the above.
- Any graphical remarks about sexual acts or pornography of any form (even in “nsfw” channels).
- The following subjects should be avoided, because they often cause negative interactions; especially to members entering the channel in the middle of the conversation. If you really want to discuss them, please do so in a private channel:
- Politics
- Religion
- News with toxic headlines (sensationalism/media intended to anger)
- Member disagreements
- Since most chat systems we use have persistent history, these apply at all times whether anyone else is in the channel or not.
