Hey y’all! Welcome to the second episode of the, not-so-once-a-month, once a month BDO Oddysee Newsletter! Here you can read about all things I think about writing down! Primarily, most things will fall into 3 categories, guild events, game events, and finally interesting people that deserve so further exposition in the guild.
For the first category, let’s talk about the state of our PvP, as well as the node war sitch. Currently our PvP officer, Adrian, encourages all participating members to visit bdostats.com. This allows him to find good matches for practice, which usually will happen on Fridays that we are not participating in a node war. Speaking of node wars, we have one coming up on the 7th of this October! For more information, please contact either Shenryll, Adrian, or Ymort.
For the next category, let’s talk about in game events (or at least the expected ones). If this year is like the last, then starting on October 20th to the 31st, you can receive three event rewards. The first daily is the Halloween Cookie, which you receive every 2 hours logged into the game. This Cookie will allow you to start a daily quest with Lara in Heidel, which you will kill monsters till you receive 3x Halloween Candy, with a chance to be dropped from any mobs killed. After completing this event, you will receive 1 Halloween Candy, which can be combined with 2 Halloween Cookies to create a Halloween Gift Box. This box has extremely high chance of rare items (comparatively) and is only second to the Christmas Event box. While it is not guaranteed, most players will receive a piece of boss armour.
