//Welcome back//
Here we are, two weeks later from the first issue of the Oddysee Newsletter that went out! Welcome to another issue of “At the Helm”
//Website Progress//
It’s been a somewhat busy two weeks for myself, working in tandem with what Skoma’s been doing for the website, making little tweaks to what you can see on the front end.
We had a small technical issue that Skoma quickly fixed up on the forums, we’ve also had a bit of work done with the org tool! Something we’ve been developing ourselves for member management. Check it out on the image to the right!
We’ve also got a awesome new tool to ensure we can deliver our newsletters to you in a timely and appealing way! Which, from this issue onwards you will see.
//Community Games//
We’ve also been getting into a lot of other games a community lately, which is excellent! A lot of us have been coming together to play this new early access game (That actually seems like it will get done) ARK: Survival Evolved.
So much so, that we ended up getting not one but TWO servers! Though… that was more due to a miscommunication on my part (Whoops!). For these two servers the officers are providing it to you, for your continued support and as thanks for sticking around. Though we may downsize to one server from next month onwards we shall continue endeavour to provide you all with the best experience around.
To find the Ark servers rented by us, searched Oddysee Community Ark Server in the server browser! We’ve chosen to rent one from an european host and one from US west so that people from all time zones could reach it with relatively low latency compared to one extreme or another.
A lot of us have also been playing DOTA 2, a great Moba that requires an incredible amount of teamwork and patience to learn and win and enjoy the game to the fullest. If you’re looking to play either of these games and want to join in, jump into our teamspeak or the webchat and just ask, there’s sure to be someone down to play!

That brings us to the end of this fortnights from the helm. Once again it brings me great joy to see you all interacting and getting along with each other, it ensures high hopes for us not just in SC but as a community. You all keep being excellent, and don’t forget if you have any queries or questions, please feel free to get in contact with me. Either through Steam, SC, or via my e-mail, cykhat@oddysee.org.
Kind regards
-Cy
