Welcome to the first edition of the BDO report! This article will generally cover the big news within BDO, as well as the personal accomplishments of members within Oddysee. This time, the current talk of the town is the brand new striker class, Getonthislevel’s leveling, and the rumors surrounding the long awaited Kamasylve.

First off for player news, we have the striker class! Many people within the guild leveled a striker as an alternate character, and each for a different reason. Some simply wanted to level a character without the intensive grind of higher levels. Most wanted to level one for the leveling event, which rewarded Lauren boxes and in total, 120 million in gold! However, there are a few in the guild who have permanently switched to the striker class, or at least for now ;). The awakening has been announced for Korea, and many say it will be at least 3 months till it releases on NA and EU servers.

Next, we have GetOnThisLevel’s most recent accomplishment, reaching level 60! Or at least, he hopefully will by the time you see this. At the time of writing this article, Kevin is the highest level in the guild, at 90% through 59! His advice to those leveling is to always pop your 200% exp buff at night, grind at pirates till 58, and then solo at Gahaz Bandits (if you can that it). While this may sound like a normal feat, Kevin has sunk in well over 200 hours on this character, and he plans to be 61 before the end of the summer. Talk about dedication.

Finally, the rumored Kamasylve update has been confirmed by the developers, Daum, to be released before June. Of course if that goes as planned, this will be a huge content adder. Rumors of this include: 2 new world bosses, a soft cap raise to 58, and last but certainly not least, a major upgrade to a player’s non-awakening mainhand. This update was a whopping 17 Gb for Korea servers, but is said to be at least 19 Gb for NA, so we are interested as to what those extra 2 Gb could hold.

A new quest line: Adventure With The New Moon’s Guild, has been added. Playable once a day, the event will guide adventurers to scenic outlooks, and reward this with an Old Moon’s Reward. This box is the exact same as a Lauren’s Gift Box, but with a different skin.
