Intel Division Report 3-7-2947

So the image I have here is me, sans hair for some unknown reason, pondering the fate of Oddysee as a PMC in the Star Citizen universe. So as an officer, I try to look down the road to the future when the game of games is finally released. I fill in the time on Arma, or Ark, and various other things trying to avoid that one subject that all Oddysee Star Citizen Officers grit their teeth to hear.

Recruiting.

Some smartass officer who isn’t around much says ” lets bring P” back. And I grind my teeth and mutter, “He’s gone.”

Another smartass officers says “Don’t worry about it till launch”. And I grind my teeth and mutter “Procrastinator”

I know, you’re all saying to yourselves ” Is he going to get to a point?” “Has he lost it” “Why is he such an asshole?”

I’ll tell you why. We need recruits.We need recruits more than just buying NPC’s to fly our ships, we need to fly as a group, we need to fight as a group, we need to build our brotherhood to an intense fighting force with indestructible moving parts that mesh seamlessly. If we need to man a Javellin we’ve taken from another org, we want to do it with real members. And unfortunately, I can’t get NPC’s to recruit other members to fly our ships on a 48 hour mission across all the timezones and across the world.

I need officers to recruit, I need other members to recruit, and all of us to stop whining that this game is only in Alpha. I need video clips, and screenshots and scripts to make some recruiting ads.I need your help, or come launch, we’ll all be standing around looking at our ships in the same forlorn manner.
