What an excellent end to another year, though a heavy head isn’t the best start to a New year… But you reap what you sow, or so they say. Welcome back all and Happy New year! I’m sure many of you like myself are still in the process of getting back into peak performance mode. To that end, the at the Helm for this month will be kept short but sweet.

Going off the impromptu mid monthly best wishes I posted via here, I’d like to wish you all a happy New Year and all the best for the coming year. I hope 2016 treated you well, and if not.. well 2017 is a new chance for a change of pace. I believe each and every one of you in Oddysee is capable of achieving great things and I hope you achieve everything you hope to this year.
//Oddysee Birthday//
For next months at the helm, I want to do a bit something different. Oddysee turns 3 years old. (Who would’ve thought that 3 years ago we’d end up where we are. It’s quite a pleasant turn of events for me personally.) With that said, I’d like YOU to PM me on discord when you joined and what Oddysee might mean to you, and what you’d like to have happen this year with us. (I might even throw in a sneaky prize).
//Activity//
2016 has been a big year for Oddysee, with so many activities and changes that occurred it’s crazy to think about where we were and where we are at now. With Star Citizen 2.6 Dropping and letting us get a glimpse of what’s in store for us in the Universe, all I can say is I’m incredibly excited and look forward to what’s in store. With that said we have some events that will be coming up sometime soon in the form of dedicated Star Citizen nights where we as a community will work together to improve our skills. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
You might have also noticed a lot of new faces, playing specifically one game; Black Desert. Thanks to Ymort, Gambita, Tony and all of the people who make “Oddysee | Black Desert” a good environment for people to be in, we’ve achieved an incredible amount of traction. To that end, to celebrate the 50-member mark and the hard work of the aforementioned, I decided to run a raffle for our black desert members in an effort for them to integrate and join us on Discord.
The rules were simple; Sign up to our website + Discord and you go in for the chance to win a costume of your choosing. (I also decided to have two runners up positions that won some swag too). We had a good turn out!
