HOLY SCHNEIKIES!  Did you check out GamesCon?

It’s no question, among PC games, Star Citizen is the title I’m most interested in watching come together.  Sometimes though, they make leaps and strides that leaves my jaw on the floor.  If you haven’t watched the GamesCon footage, and more specifically, the v3.0 preview of how missions are intended to spawn and work, you owe it to yourself to go watch it now.  Here, I’ll make it easy for you, just click here.   The implications are amazing.  I’m happy to see we’re finally cresting the top of the first main hill on the game development roller coaster and content can come together as quickly as it has been.  I have my doubts about it being played on some grand, whole-Org-in style of play that’s seen in games like Eve, even with the complex instancing system they have planned, but even as a smaller-scale co-op game played with groups of friends, it’s going to be a really worthy game and something that I have no doubt will last the ages.  Combat wise, I jumped from my seat in excitement when the freelancer pilot decided to roll the ship down low and blow away the last of the pirates.  With Star Marine allegedly coming out in the 2.6 patch, I’ve been honing my skills up in Arma3 in anticipation.  Bring it on!  Demonseed out!
