//Welcome back//

The year is 2K16, and with the fast approach of winter in Australia (Queue Winter is coming jokes) it’s getting cooler here. Finally. The shift in season isn’t the only thing that’s occurring, years come and go so quickly, can you believe it’s been a year already? That’s right, over 12 months ago we started sending out these Newsletters and boy, have we seen some changes.

//Events, News and….. Stagnation?//

It’s funny how something can both have a breath of fresh air yet also be stagnating. That’s how I see us as a community currently, we get on and we talk to each other and hell yeah. That’s awesome, and all the shiny new games we’re playing with each other. I haven’t been keeping a track of all the games but Black Desert has been doing incredibly well. However amazing that is I can’t help but feel we are stagnating as well.

We’re meant to be the second family (Wheeew, more commitment! I can hear the groaning already haha), so to that end, the question stands; Why aren’t we doing more things together? Well that’s partly due to the fact we haven’t had many events recently. In fact, barely much this whole year.

Terrible isn’t it? So to that end I’ve begun talks with the events managers (when our timetables coincide) to get more events happening. So look forward to that!

If you’re curious as to who our current event managers are, they are Woodhaus (Head event manager) and Varrus. If you guys are looking for events to happen or have ideas for them you can get in contact with these guys and they’ll get the ball rolling. If these two aren’t available the Officers or the Community Managers are also a good contact point, and as always my door is always open to suggestions.

So I think this is the shortest at the Helm I’ve written, but as always thanks for taking the time to read it. It would be longer if not for the mortal affliction that is sickness and sleep deprivation.

Overall the main point I want to drive here is that this community has been built by people just like yourself the officers, community managers and everyone else who makes it special. So if there’s anything you’d like to startup or get pitch, there’s always an open ear.
